They have first floors with the doors leading outside, the door to go in and out of their aspect is different. It does not have a campus, but their assisted living building is only four months old. It talks about the costs of assisted living and other types of care to help seniors choose the best type of care for them.īriarcliffe Gardens Memory Care Assisted Living was a close second in the four places I went to. The following guide discusses the pros, cons and costs of retirement in Providence. In Providence, this type of care costs an average of $6,063 per month, which is higher than the national average of $4,500 but lower than the state average of $6,826. Staff are also available to help with cooking, cleaning and daily chores so that residents can relax and live comfortably. These facilities generally offer assistance with personal and health care as needed. The city also has a wide selection of assisted living facilities, which range from small, cozy homes to large, resort-style communities. In addition to cultural and historical attractions, Providence offers easily accessible and affordable health care. The age-friendly city has a lower population of seniors than average, at 11.6%. It’s still hard on all of us, but we look forward to better times ahead. As the capital of Rhode Island, Providence is known for its rich history that dates back to colonial times. I can not thank them enough!!! Today I get to visit my Mom once a week sitting outside with our masks on. Leah is fantastic!!! The staff became my substitute Family to help us and Mom get through Covid. Leah Lagor made sure to make that happen and I am so appreciative. The daily face time calls helped us keep us in touch. As you can imagine during this time it has been extremely hard on us not being able to spend time with my Mom, as well as on my Mom feeling isolated from the outside world. When anyone was sickened by the virus they would immediately update the Families and their plans to insure their loved ones would be kept safe. They followed all of the rules and regulations. During Covid, the staff has worked extremely hard at keeping their residents healthy and safe. My Mom has been living there for a number of years in the assisted living. I would like to start out by thanking all of the staff at the Residence at Five Corners. I haven't tried the food, but it looks good. The schedule was originally set up for half-hour visits, but now it's not limited as far as time goes. Since COVID has been decreasing, they're now open to visitations, and they're fairly unlimited, but you have to call ahead and schedule it. They have at least three areas where they can do things, and they have an outdoor patio, which is nice. They have an activity area, a larger TV room for movie-night type stuff, and a separate room for some of the activities they do that is different than the other two. They had birdhouse building, that type of thing, and painting. My father has worked on building stuff with his hands, which he likes to do. The staff members are very nice, and they seem to be very involved with his care. There are two separate rooms within the same apartment, and there's a kitchen area, as well as a bathroom that two people share. The place is nice, rather new, and kind of spacious compared to some of the other places. My father has moved into The Residence at Five Corners. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
